Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), meet your driver-guide and transfer to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and baobab-studded landscapes. Enjoy a scenic game drive en route to your lodge, spotting wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, and lions. Tarangire is also home to rare species like the fringe-eared oryx and gerenuk. After lunch at the lodge, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Spend the day on game drives exploring the park’s diverse landscapes and rich wildlife. Visit the Tarangire River, a lifeline during the dry season, attracting elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, and predators like lions and leopards. A packed lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This natural amphitheater hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including rhinos, elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, then ascend and continue to your lodge in nearby Karatu.

Begin your morning with a final game drive in Tarangire as the park awakens, with a packed lunch provided. After your safari, continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or Karatu Highlands. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife such as greater kudus and elephants, often spotted crossing open plains and wooded hills. Arrive at your lodge by late afternoon, where you can unwind and prepare for the next day’s crater exploration. Dinner and overnight at your Ngorongoro or Karatu lodge.

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a half-day game drive. Known for its tree-climbing lions, hippo-filled lake, and diverse birdlife—including flamingos and pelicans—Lake Manyara offers lush forest and acacia woodland habitats that contrast the open plains of Tarangire and Ngorongoro. After lunch, transfer back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward journey.
